Other offshoot companies within the Timeshare industry have also taken advantage of this misuse and have encouraged consumers to sell their timeshare through alleged “buyback” or “resale” schemes or have promised cancellation of Timeshare products usually with the payment of an upfront Fee, where the service promised never materialised.
